The Lord is waiting to go on a journey with you

Pastor Jung Myung Seok has made the month of May a month to visit Wolmyungdong. He said that regardless of who you are, you should visit Wolmyungdong at least once in May. May is the most beautiful month of the year to visit.

Wolmyungdong is a place God designed. During the process of its construction, the Holy Son protected the workers while Pastor Jung toiled with his sweat and tears to actualize the Holy Spirit’s inspiration.

God gave us Wolmyungdong as a gift. It is a great inheritance, which Pastor Jung and the Lord developed for future generations. It is the pride of Wolmyungdong Church and a spiritual home for all of us. Pastor Jung developed Wolmyungdong while laughing and crying. He would say, “In life, you have to pave the road.” He said this while making the trails along the rides of the mountains.

Wolmyungdong is a spiritual safe haven

When you grow older and become more independent from your parents, most people drift away from their hometown. At most, you come back maybe once or twice a year and live the rest of your time forgetting about it under the pretext of being busy. We forget many things as we live in increasingly competitive times.

We might live forgetting about our parents who gave birth to us or about our spiritual family who brought us to God. We may even forget about Jesus who died on the cross for us. It’s scary when you forget because you don’t even know you’ve forgotten.

Rock Treasures in Wolmyeongdong

People say that the most expensive gemstone in the world is a diamond. But if you think about it, a diamond is simply a rock.

God, our Creator, did not create diamonds to be the only type of rock treasures in the world. He also created hundreds of different kinds of rocks treasures. Geologists say that it takes hundreds of thousands of years for a rock to form in soil. If you look at the rocks that were made while the earth was forming, it took many billions of years for them to form. They are even stronger that diamond.

When you look at it like this, all rocks are a type of gemstone. Marbles are gemstones, and so are rocks that are made of obsidian and amber. Rocks that have images and collectible rocks in particular are also a kind of rock treasure. Some of these rocks can cost up to a few hundred million dollars. Since the cost of rocks can rival or even surpass the value of gold in certain cases, rocks are treasures just like gold.

The Rock Museum in Wolmyeongdong

Without contaminating the environment, we have made the Wolmyeongdong Natural Temple with the design and support of the Trinity. Wolmyeongdong is now a temple that belongs to God. Within the Natural Temple is a Rock Museum where we have stacked seven different rock treasures in a line. The course is about 500 m long.

It is majestic, beautiful, and wondrous. Wolmyeongdong is indeed a palace dedicated to God. You can find rock treasures everywhere. Some are still hidden in the ground.

So that we can give glory and thanksgiving to God, our Creator who created these rock treasures, to the Holy Spirit, and to the Holy Son of the Trinity, we are holding annual Rock Festivals in the Natural Temple. I hope that you can enjoy these world renowned rock attractions and learn about their stories.

Wolmyeongdong Fragrant Flower Festival

People consider flowers to be the most beautiful part of nature. Compared to flowers, God considers human beings to be the most beautiful part of all creation. However, of all the gifts in nature God has created, flowers bloom and wither in the blink of an eye. Before they wither, we should appreciate the mysteriousness and joy of a fully bloomed flower.

Every year, Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center holds a Flower Festival in Wolmyeongdong, God’s Natural Temple. Each flower festival will last for a month. During that time, participants can give glory to the Trinity who created the natural world we live in.

Flowers are not the only highlight of Wolmyeongdong. World class rock landscapes also surround the Natural Temple in a majestic fashion. When you come to this place, you will experience a world of wonder. You will see landscapes that you cannot see anywhere else in the world.

Wolmyeongdong also contains natural mineral springs that God has blessed us with. To this day, thousands of people have drunken from it freely and been cured of all kinds of diseases. Even people from foreign countries continuously visit Wolmyeongdong to drink from it. The fragrance of this mineral water will seep into your body whenever you drink from it, and your health will soar.

The fragrance of human flowers

All 60+ places the Trinity has designed have become flowers that contain deep stories. Those who have listened to their stories have been moved to tears by the fragrance of these flowers. In particular, there is one great flower in Wolmyeongdong. It is the world’s rarest flower, and it gives off a fragrance that cannot be bested. Even though it is not a flower we can see with our eyes now, we can hear about it through stories. Its fragrance fills Wolmyeongdong along with the scent of pine trees.

When you come to the flower festival, please be sure to realize about the fragrance of flowers. Like bees that fill their honeycomb full of honey, I hope you will fill your head with the fragrance of flowers and produce eternal honey by walking on the path of life forever with joy.

Don’t just look at the flower but look at the beautiful human flowers that our Creator’s greatest masterpieces. Then their fragrance will fill your heart as well. I hope that you will make this visit an opportunity to show off the flower called yourself as well.

The World’s Best Natural Temple Rock Landscape

Everything in the world is part of God’s creation. Among them, water, soil, and rocks were the most essential substances God used to form the earth. However, rocks in particular were deemed to be useless in the past. But as human civilization advanced, rocks have become an indispensable part of human society.

Nowadays, humans have become as common as rocks. That is why we sometimes feel that we are useless in the world, just another number. But the truth is, even rocks, which are extremely common, shine when they are used. The Omnipotent Holy Trinity came to us, who are as common as rocks, and invited us to Heaven.

While saving lives, I preached the Gospel to countless people who lost their way in life. They were disheartened and wandering lives. As I brought more and more lives to God, people had to cramp into the small church I rented at the time to listen. I felt so guilty about serving God in such a small rented church.

In the past, Jesus preached the Word in places like the Mount of Olives or the Sea of Galilee where crowds of people could sit comfortably while worshiping and giving glory to God. I too prayed to God for a place like that in nature. At that time, God answered me and told me that he would grant my request. Later, God and the Holy Son told me to return to my hometown.

The Mysterious Heavenly Land of Wolmyeongdong

At first, God had my younger brother develop the Natural Temple into a training center. God made me realize about His Will little by little. At that time, I thanked God for permitting me to build the Natural Temple and moved my ministry from Seoul to my hometown. That was when I began the development of the Natural Temple. As I was praying to God about how to develop Wolmyeongdong, I saw a vision. After that, I immediately started constructing the place exactly according to what God had shown me.

Some of the best landscaping experts in Korea who we hired gave up on the construction saying it was too dangerous. Because I had never dabbled in landscaping before, I really didn’t know what to do. I was at a loss. There were also rocks and trees I thought were impossible to buy because I simply didn’t have the money. However, because God was with me, the impossible became possible.

If God and the Lord had not been with me, it would have been impossible. I did not know how to do anything, not even the principle of erecting rocks. I was able to finally dedicate this magnificent, wondrous, and beautiful Natural Temple to God after toiling for many years with the rest of the disciples.

People have made their personal stories in the Natural Temple. However, more than 80% of the stories are stories between the Trinity and me. There is not one rock that doesn’t have a story behind it. Because everything has stories involving God, Wolmyeongdong has become a historical place in God’s history.

The Meaning Behind the Natural Temple Rock Festival

Because God inspired me to hold rock festivals annually, I wanted to use this time to give glory to God. That is why we host the rock festivals and flower festivals. I hope all of you will come and see the magnificent, wondrous, and beautiful sites that God has put His hand upon, and I hope you will realize how living and active God is. He is working among people and through nature.

When you come and see for yourself, I am sure you will encounter God.

The rocks in Wolmyeongdong will inspire your heart. Their stories testify about God. It is a new history of faith, a great awakening that gives people eternal hope. From this place, the Word of God spreads out to nations around the world and seeks to change the lives of many.

To all who visit Wolmyeongdong, think of the rocks in this beautiful rock garden as symbols of people. Whether the rocks are small or big, they shine by doing their job. Through this, realize that there is no one who is not needed by God. If you accept God’s invitation, God will make your life into a radiant one like these rocks in Wolmyeongdong.
